Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,

We are delighted to share the exciting adventures of the final day at the Al-Madinah School Junior Boys Camp. Our students had an enriching and memorable experience as they continued their journey of discovery and had an enriching day. Here’s a recap of their adventures:

The day began with Fajr Salah and Taleem, followed by a quick clean-up. A delicious breakfast was served to energise the students for the day ahead. They then departed for Te Puia, where they embarked on a guided tour of the Te Whakarewarewa Thermal Valley. The students were fascinated by the Pōhutu Geyser, the largest naturally active geyser in the Southern Hemisphere.

They also had the opportunity to witness Māori arts and crafts and learn about the rich cultural heritage of New Zealand. The students were captivated by the power and beauty of this natural wonder.

In addition to the geysers, the students also had the chance to learn about Māori arts and crafts. They were introduced to the rich cultural heritage of New Zealand and gained a deeper appreciation for the traditions and customs of the Māori people.

After the tour, the students bid farewell to Rotorua and began their journey back to Al-Madinah School. They prayed and took a lunch break at Hamilton Lake, where they enjoyed a picturesque setting to relax and recharge. The serene surroundings provided the perfect opportunity for reflection and appreciation of the natural beauty around them.

At 3:45 pm, the students arrived back at school, bringing an end to their memorable camp experience. We are incredibly proud of our students for their enthusiasm, resilience, and positive attitude throughout the camp. They have not only made lasting memories but also forged new friendships and developed important life skills.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the teachers who accompanied the students and ensured their safety and well-being throughout the camp. Their dedication and commitment have played a significant role in making this camp a success.

Finally, Jazaak Allah for entrusting us with your children’s education and allowing them to participate in this enriching experience. We hope that they return home with a sense of accomplishment and a deeper appreciation for nature, culture, and teamwork. The Al-Madinah School Junior Boys Camp has been a remarkable journey of exploration and growth, and we look forward to more such opportunities in the future.

If you have any questions or feedback, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We value your partnership in your child’s education.

Wassalaam,

Asraf Ali
