Dear Parents/Caregivers

PARENT TEACHER MEETING

Parent teacher meeting for years 1 – 13 is on Thursday 23 March, 2017 from 8.00am – 5.30pm.  It will be a whole day programme.  Therefore, the students need to stay home and only come to school on the appointment time with their parents and return home with their parents.

 You need to book an appointment on website: www.schoolinterviews.co.nz//code then enter the event code: jv6et.  After you enter the event code click GO.  Then follow the instructions on the screen. 

 Step 1:  Enter your name (parent’s name), email address and your child’s name.

Step 2:  Choose the subject and the teacher’s name.

Step 3: Select time from the timetable when your chosen teachers are available. Click the time that suits you.

Parents/caregivers who do not have internet access, they are most welcome to contact the class teachers or the school

office to book appointments.  Booking will be open from today.

 It is very important that all the parents need make appointment and meet the class teachers and/or subject teachers especially the NCEA students.

   TELEPHONE SERVICES

We are having some issues with the school telephone. In Shaa Allah the whole telephone system will be replaced by end of this week.  If you are unable to get through please ring on 021 257 3221 or send an email on info@al-madinah.school.nz.

 LATE ARRIVAL

All students must be in school on time.  Please leave home early to arrive in school on time and to avoid traffic congestion.  Regular late comers will be referred to the truancy officer.

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURES

School complaints policy and procedures has been displayed in the school office and is also available on the school website.  If you have any complaints please follow the complaints procedure.

UPDATED CONTACT DETAILS

Thank you to those parents/caregivers who have passed their updated contact details to the class teachers.  Those who have not passed the updated contact please do so by Friday 10 March, 2017.
