UNIFORM
A high standard of dress and grooming is required at all times. No jewellery or cosmetics are to be worn. To ensure uniformity prevails, uniform must be purchased from school. Please note Primary mean Students from years 1 to 6 while Secondary means students from years 7 to 13.
Except for shoes and socks all other uniform items are sold at the school. The details are as follows:
Boys’ uniform (Primary)
Tunic – long grey shirt (kameez) reaching below the knee
Pants reaching above the ankle- Grey
School Sweat shirt – navy blue
School jacket – black
Hat – White
Socks – black, dark blue or white
Shoes – Black school shoes (preferably with Velcro not laces)
Boys’ PE/Sports Uniform (Primary)
T-shirt – white with the name of the school printed on the back
Track pants – navy blue
Running shoes – white or black
Boy’s Uniform (Secondary)
Tunic- long white shirt (kameez) reaching up to the knee
Pants reaching above the ankle- Black
School Sweat shirt – black
School Blazer - Black
Hat – White
Socks – black, dark blue or white
Shoes – Black School Shoes ONLY
Boys’ PE/Sports Uniform (Secondary)
T-shirt – Green with white stripes
Track pants – green with white stripes reaching above the ankle
¾ pants – green with white stripes reaching below the knee
Running shoes – white or black
Girl’s Uniform (Primary)
Tunic – long overcoat reaching below the knee
Pants- blue
Scarf – white and round
School jacket / Jumper- Jacket and jumper are blue. (Jacket is not compulsory for girls)
Socks – black, dark blue or white
Shoes - Black School Shoes (preferably with Velcro).
Girls’ PE/Sports Uniform (Primary)
¾ T-shirt – blue reaching up to the knee
Track pants – blue reaching up to the ankle
Running shoes - black or white
Girl’s Uniform (Secondary)
Tunic – long black abaya reaching up to the ankle
Pants – black pants reaching up to the ankle
Scarf – white and round two piece scarf
School Jumper/Blazer – jumper and Blazer are green
Socks – black, dark blue or white
Shoes - Black School Shoes ONLY
Girls’ PE/Sports Uniform (Secondary)
¾ T-shirt – blue with white stripes reaching up to the knee
Track pants – blue reaching up to the ankle
Running shoes - black or white
NB: School jersey or jacket must be worn during 2nd and 3rd terms when the weather is cold.
Boys must wear their toppees at all times while in uniform, except during Sports and P.E. classes. Fancy haircuts and gel are not allowed under any circumstances.
Girls will wear their scarves correctly at all times. This means in such a way that no hair is visible. Long hair must be tied up so as not to hang below the scarf.
No jeans, jewellery, or nail polish are allowed.
Parents are responsible for seeing that uniform regulations are adhered to. A note must accompany any genuine breaches of school uniform requirements. However, should a student fail to wear correct uniform, he/she must bring a note from the parents stating the reasons.
Parents are to ensure that all items of clothing and other belongings of their child/children are clearly named.
